Welcome to Almekinder Builders and thank you for visiting our web site.

Almekinder Builders was founded in 1982 with the simple idea of bringing old world quality craftsmanship to our customers in Wisconsin’s beautiful North Woods.  While our company has certainly grown since those early years, we have never lost our focus - quality continues to come first in each of our construction projects.

Today we have completed over 400 projects in the Lakeland area ranging from simple garage construction and room / home remodeling to the building of executive style retreats on the Minocqua chain of lakes.  Each has been built with pride and we feel very privileged that in the process many of our customers have become our friends. 

Almekinder Builders is licensed by the State of Wisconsin.  We are fully insured and provide a Home Warranty with each project.  We’ll either work from your plans or work with you to design a project that will be sure to include your own personal touch.  We can even help you with site selection and, if you desire, recommend several local businesses that will be able to help you with financing.  Regardless of project size, you will find that from start to finish we provide each of our customers a complete low pressure general contracting experience.
